Dry skin is never fun to deal with. It can lead to a buildup of dead skin cells that can be hard to remove and actually lead to deep set pimples and breakouts. It also forms a layer of cells that inhibit your skincare products from reaching the living cells and working, no matter how much you pay for them. Removing this layer and moisturizing is the key. Avoiding products that contain petroleum and mineral oil is a must as these only seep into the dead skin cells making them a impenetrable wax like layer.
Our resident Skincare Expert and Founder Chris Gibson recommends a solid exfoliation routine with a weekly salt scrub or use of a facial exfoliating sponge like 3m brands Buf-Puf. Also, a good product like Alpha Hydrox that contains alpha and beta hydroxy (fruit acids) will help speed cellular turnover. For moisturizer we recommend Standing Ovation Sage and Citrus Moisturizer and Spotlight Vitamin C Serum with concentrated Vitamin C.

Chris Gibson's favorite formulation! This lightweight crème has specially chosen ingredients to condition and tone skin. A combination of active botanicals Sage, Watercress and Lemon Bioflavonoids, purify and revitalize the complexion. The anti-oxidants Vitamin A, C & E are incorporated in this formula to protect and improve the skin’s elasticity. Your skin will feel spa facial fresh!
DIRECTIONS: Use twice daily after thoroughly cleansing and toning your skin.
SPOTLIGHT VITAMIN C SERUM
This ultra concentrated Vitamin C Serum protects, hydrates, and conditions delicate or irritated skin. This sun damage reversing product is recommended for clients that are receiving Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peel, or Laser Treatments. It can also be an excellent product to be used on acne skin to help in the healing process. Normal skin types can benefit from this serum also. Vitamin C fights free radical damage caused by the harsh environment and pollutants, such as the sun, drinking and smoking.
DIRECTIONS: Use twice daily after thorough cleansing and toning. If using alpha- or beta- hydroxy acids or retinol, use Spotlight C Serum first and let it absorb before adding other products. Can be used under your day or night moisturizer.
